No remedial measures for diseases of the musculoskeletal system give such effect as massages and physiotherapy. They prevent the development of pathological processes, help restore health relatively quickly, and then significantly strengthen it. Even Avicenna in his book “The Canon of Medicine” wrote that “the most important thing in health preservation is physical exercise and only then -cooking and sleeping mode.”
Massage is a powerful mechanical irritation that affects nerves and muscle tissues, blood vessels, joints and ligaments. And if it also precedes exercise therapy, then the benefit is twofold.
Exercises must be measured in accordance with the general state of health, and each massage technique sequence shall be applied in proper correlation with physical exercise.
